During the last 3 weeks there have been a number of burglaries in the Oxenford area, particularly in the Regatta Waters area. The offenders have been gaining entry by physically breaking open the front or a rear door. The offenders have particularly targeted cash, jewellery, computers and electronic items.
Over the Easter break, please watch out for your neighbour’s house and if you see or hear anything suspicious, call police immediately. If you see something and if you feel safe, try to obtain a description of the people and any vehicle’s registration to help identify the criminals.
If you see someone committing a burglary, call police on 000, or otherwise call Coomera Police on 5519 5555. If the station is unattended, you call will be transferred to our communication centre, who will contact local police by radio to attend.
