GRAFFITI - THERE'S A LOT OF IT ABOUT

At our next meeting in August we will be updating you all on some success stories regarding graffiti offenders that have used Oxenford as a canvas.  

It was great to read in a recent email received from Sgt Barry Wellington (the one man graffiti-busting 'cell' who spoke at our November 2009 meeting) that in the last 3 weeks Barry  has 'pinched'  4 individuals for 59 graffiti - they were apprehended in the Oxenford area and offences range from  Gaven to Yatala. Barry also seized their video camera containing  footage of them offending. He has further caught 2 more, on 61 charges ranging from Robina to Yeerongapilly. All are currently  before  the court and we should have a result at the time of your next meeting.
