During April six crime were
reported to police, two crimes were vehicles which were both broken into on the
one night. It is important to remember
not to leave valuables in cars, especially overnight.
I will have further information
about all the crimes which have been committed in our area at the next
Neighbourhood Watch meeting on Tuesday 13 May at the Youth and Community
Centre.
Burglary
10/04/2014 Savannah
Avenue: Unknown offender/s has gained
entry by forcing a security screen & window to gain entry. Offender/s has stolen tv sets & computers
prior to decamping through the garage door.
Stealing
27/04/2014 Tamborine-Oxenford Road: The victims had secured two bicycles to a tree by a chain whilst
swimming at the rope swing on the Coomera
River. Unknown offender/s has cut the chain and
stolen the bicycles and chain.
Steal from motor vehicle
12/04/2014 Old Pacific Highway: Unknown
offender has smashed the left front window of the victim's Toyota sedan and stolen a mobile phone from
the centre console.
17/04/2014 Marlow Street: Suspect
has gained entry to the victim's Toyota
sedan by unknown means and stolen a wallet and other valuables from inside the
car. The suspect has later committed
fraud offences with the victim's credit cards.
17/04/2014 Lanier Close:
Suspect has gained entry to the victim's Nissan 4x4 wagon by unknown means and
stolen a handbag and other valuables from inside the car. The suspect has later committed fraud
offences with the victim's credit cards.
Wilful damage
07/04/2014 Cottonwood Place: Unknown offender has scratched the driver’s side doors
of the victims Mazda sedan, whilst it was parked outside the Super Butcher
store.
