OXENFORD NHW CRIME REPORT MAY 2014



Crime Report for May 2014
During May there were several offences where cars were broken into, some of which were unlocked.  There were two burglaries reported, both involving a forced entry as well as a spate of wilful damage to vehicles.
Burglary
05/05/2014 Rushcutter Avenue: Unknown offender/s has entered the vacant dwelling by removing a bathroom window.  Nil property was stolen.
29/05/2014 Regatta Avenue: Unknown offender/s has entered the dwelling by smashing a rear window.  The house has been ransacked and many items and ornaments damaged throughout the house.  Jewellery has also been stolen.

Break and enter premises
22/05/2014 Global Plaza: Unknown offender/s has entered a construction site by scaling temporary fencing and gained entry to a storage box by cutting a padlock.  Construction tools have been stolen from the box.
27/05/2014 Cottonwood Place: Unknown offender has jemmied a rear roller door to the business & stole cash from the office.
Steal from motor vehicle
14/05/2014 California Drive: Unknown offender entered the unlocked Audi wagon in the victim’s carport searched through the vehicle.
14/05/2014 Lanier Close: Unknown offender entered the Great wall wagon by unknown means in the victim’s driveway and stole an iPad and vacuum cleaner.
14/05/2014 Maple Court: Unknown offender entered the Holden sedan by unknown means in the victim’s driveway and stole a handbag.
19/05/2014 Rushcutter Avenue: Unknown offender entered the locked Subaru wagon by unknown means in the victim’s driveway and stole a laptop computer.
Stealing of vehicle registration plates
20/05/2014 Old Pacific Highway: Unknown offender has removed the front number plate from the victim's Mitsubishi 4x4 wagon.
23/05/2014 Broxbourne Place: Unknown offender has removed the rear number plate and attempted to remove the front number plate from a VW hatch.  The plate was later located on a car at Nerang.
Wilful damage
14/05/2014 Temple Island Circuit: Unknown offender has slashed the tyres and scratched panels of a Ford and Holden wagon parked in the victim’s driveway.
19/05/2014 Cottonwood Place: Unidentified male offender has scratched the right side of the victim’s Audi hatch, whilst parked at the Centro Shopping Centre.
24/05/2014 McNamara Court: Unknown offenders have damaged panels & smashed the windows on two cars in the driveway and front windows of the house.
