Our Neighbourhood Watch Police Liaison Officer Sgt Andrew Lake has lived up to his title once again and has liaised with Sgt Martin Webb, the District Crime Prevention Coordinator at Coomera District Police Headquarters, to arrange for us to hold our next Neighbourhood Watch meeting at their relatively new Coomera District Police Headquarters.
Not only will we hold our next meeting at the station, but this will be followed by a tour of the facilities where we’ll learn about the responsibilities of the station, the area it covers, its personnel, police equipment etc.
The new Coomera District Police Headquarters became operational less than a year ago, in November 2011. The building is situated on the corner of De Barnett and Fortune streets, in Coomera alongside the ‘old’ Coomera Police Station.
