OXENFORD NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH MAY 2010 MEETING

I loved last night's meeting - we had much to catch up on, a few new faces  and a great speaker, Keith Taylor who talked us through the basics of CPR (on an adult, child and baby) and also on how to use a defribulator.

Keith Taylor-  in a nutshell - is a legend. He was with the Fire Service for 34 years and was Area Director of the Gold Coast when he retired. He is now contracted to  the Queensland Ambulance Service as a Senior Instructor and also as an Instructor Auditor. We were therefore very lucky indeed to have him share his knowledge with us. Keith attends all of our meetings - which is great  - because if anything should happen to any of us during a meeting - we'll be in his expert hands!

As pictures speak louder than words, I will leave you with a few images from last night's meeting.

Councillor for Division 2 John Wayne attends all our meetings and updates residents on local issues.

Sgt Martin Webb from Crime Prevention at Coomera Police Station introduces himself to the group.
