Please everyone - mind the ducks! There are families of ducks with ducklings on both Michigan Drive and Riversdale Road and this morning one of our Neighbourhood Watch members had the unpleasant experience of having to once more clean up 2 fatalities.
With the addition to the two ducks killed this morning, that brings the total of ducks killed on Riversdale Road alone to eight. The first time six ducks were killed in one hit. The lady who rescued the two ducks this morning is about to ring National Parks and Wildlife to see if we can have some sort of sign installed before we lose all of them.
In the meantime the Wildcare Rescue number is 55272444, please call them for any wildlife concerns... and PLEASE pass the word around about the ducks and SLOW DOWN around Riversdale and Michigan Roads!
