HEADS UP FROM REGATTA WATERS RESIDENT

Have received this from a resident in Regatta Waters - as follows:

"Just to let you know about a couple of incidents that happened over the weekend.  On Sunday night we were home when we caught a glimpse of a couple of people out on the street.  When we looked more closely, though, there was a young girl looking in at us through the living room window, standing in the flower bed.  By the time I got there she and her friend were walking up our neighbour's driveway, then looked in through the front door that has glass panels.  I turned on all the front lights and they took off up Essen Place towards Ontario.  They seemed to be about thirteen or fourteen years old and dressed in shorts and T-shirts.  One, I think, had white shorts and a red T-shirt.

I phoned the police who sent a patrol around, but we'd had a very similar incident on Friday night, too.  Two young fellows, maybe sixteen or eighteen, were walking up every driveway in Essen Place and looking in through the front doors.  We were coming home from dinner, thought they were looking very suspicious, and followed them, but we lost them in Leander Circuit. I'd never seen either set of young people in the neighbourhood before.

I hope this might help some of our neighbours to be a bit more aware of strangers in the neighbourhood. It'd be great if you can pass this on."
