Just had a call from a lady who was burgled on Friday and who lives in
Ontario Court, Regatta Waters. Her neighbour saw the burglars leaving her
property and the description of events, alleged suspects and vehicle is as
follows:
The car parked on the driveway while the burglary was in
progress was a grey Nissan Skyline late
1990s model. One guy sat in the car while the other burgled the house.
The neighbour witnesses a guy leaving the house and
joining the other in the car.
Both guys are described as 'Islander' in appearance.
The guy leaving the house left carrying the family's
vacuum cleaner and their electric
Drill - the witness assumed that they were handymen
leaving the house.
The witness therefore dismissed what was happening and
did not take the reggo.
To gain access to the property the burglar jumped the side fence and cut
through the fly screen.
During the burglary the family's 3 passports were stolen as well as many
items of jewellery ...and of course the vacuum and drill too.
