Victim Assist provides a central information and referral service for victims of violent crime, domestic and family violence and sexual assault in Queensland.
This service is staffed by Information Officers who can talk to you about:
- financial assistance for victims
- your rights as a victim
- court support
- victim impact statements
- free counselling service for victims
- specialist support services in your local area.
They can arrange an interpreter to assist victims from non-English speaking backgrounds to access assistance.
