There were nine crimes reported
to police during June, including three burglaries. In one burglary, the
offenders walked into the house and stole the keys to a car whilst the
residents were home. With immobilisers in cars today, offenders will actually
break into a house, solely to steal a car.
Whenever possible, keys should be stored out of sight, e.g. a drawer or
similar.
