December Crime Report

Several linked offences were committed in December, especially in regard to burglaries.  A number of offences occurred in the commercial area of Oxenford.
Burglary
4/12/2011 California Drive: The offender has gained entry by jemmying a rear window. Jewellery has been stolen from the house.

14/12/2011 Missouri Way: The offenders have gained entry by tripping a security door lock. Jewellery, mobile phones and small items were stolen. Two females were seen to leave the house at the offence time.

19/12/2011 Ontario Court: The offenders have gained entry by breaking open the front door of the house. Electrical items were stolen. The offenders were seen to leave in a Toyota Landcruiser 4x4. Linked offence

19/12/2011 Rushcutter Avenue: The offenders have gained entry by breaking open the front door of the house. Cash, jewellery and Christmas gifts were stolen. Linked offence

19/12/2011 Maidenhead Court: The offenders have gained entry by breaking open a security door and front door. Computers and electrical items have been stolen. Linked offence

Break and enter premises
28/12/2011 Old Pacific Highway: The offenders have gained entry to the business by forcing a rear door. Small items have been stolen after desks were searched.

Stealing
22/12/2011 Queens Park Circuit: The offenders have stolen a blue box trailer which was chained to a tree in the front yard.

Theft of motor vehicle
8/12/2011 Cottonwood Place: The victims Holden utility was parked in the Centro shopping centre car park. Entry was by unknown means. The vehicle was located burnt out at Pimpama on 10/12/2011.

Stealing of vehicle registration plates
5/12/2011 Old Pacific Highway: The victims Ford sedan was parked near the Bunnings construction site. Both registration plates were removed during the night.

21/12/2011 Cottonwood Place: The victims Toyota utility was parked in the Woolworths staff car park. Both registration plates were removed and replaced with stolen plates.

Wilful damage
14/12/2011 Tamborine Oxenford Road: The male offender has thrown a rock through a window of the Chemist. Nil attempts made to gain entry. Linked offence

14/12/2011 Old Pacific Highway: Unknown persons in an old red Ford Laser have thrown a rock through a rear window of the post office. Nil attempts made to gain entry. Linked offence
