August 2011 Crime Report

During August only a small number of offences were committed in our area. Operation SEYMOUR month long operation using officers from other regions, was conducted at the same time, with additional patrolling conducted.


Whilst not included in NHW figures, the Operation SEYMOUR officers charged a considerable number of offenders travelling in our area that were driving whilst unlicensed, or driving unregistered cars.

Burglary
5/8/2011 Kentucky Crescent: Offenders entered after breaking a glass door and stole cash from inside the house.

5/8/2011 Blueash Crescent: Offenders entered by climbing through a toilet window and stole cash from inside the house.

Break and enter premises
7/8/2011 Cottonwood Place: Offenders gained entry to the business & stole cash after opening the safe.

Theft of motor vehicle
9/8/2011 Nottinghill Place: The suspect has obtained the keys to the victim’s car whilst attending a party. The suspect later crashed the car at Pacific Pines.

14/8/2011 Cottonwood Place: Unknown offender(s) have stolen the victims KTM motorcycle which was secured at the Woolworths loading dock. The bike appears to have been dragged & loaded into a ute or trailer.

Steal from motor vehicle
4/8/2011 Maidenhead Court: Offenders stole a gps device and sporting equipment from an unlocked car at the victim’s address whilst it was being unpacked.

Stealing of vehicle registration plates
13/8/2011 Michigan Drive: Unknown offenders have stolen the front registration plate from the victim’s Toyota Celica.

29/8/2011 Cottonwood Place: Unknown offenders have stolen the rear registration plate from the victim’s Toyota Starlet.

Wilful damage
11/8/2011 Carnarvon Court: The unknown offender(s) have bent over a street light within the unit complex.

21/8/2011 Cottonwood Place: The victim’s car was parked in a car park. The suspect has damaged the side of the victim’s car with her car doors. A witness provided details to the victim.
