Below are details of all the reported property crimes in the Oxenford area over the last three months. The majority of thefts have required the offender to force entry to the premises or vehicle. Only a few people have left doors unlocked which is good.
Burglary
5/5/2011 Lanier Close: Entry by breaking open front door, electrical items stolen.
8/5/2011 Oberon Way: Entry by removing sliding glass door, jewellery stolen
10/5/2011 Danielle Street: Entry by jemmying a sliding door & security screen, a laptop computer stolen. Offender disturbed by victim’s son.
13/5/2011 Graywillow Blvd: Entry by jemmying a rear window & screen, large amount of property stolen.
16/5/2011 Wimbledon Way: Entry by breaking open front door, large amount of property stolen.
20/5/2011 Satinay Court: Entry by forcing a rear window, jewellery stolen.
25/5/2011 Ruth Terrace: Attempted entry by smashing a side window, alarm sounded scaring off offender.
30/5/2011 Riversdale Road: Entry by breaking open front door, computers, jewellery & other items stolen.
30/5/2011 Michigan Drive: Entry by breaking open laundry door, computer and jewellery stolen.
15/7/2011 Hillgrove Court: Entry through an unlocked garage door, tools stolen after being loaded into wheelie bins.
15/7/2011 Nottinghill Place: Attempted entry to garage by forcing a window, no entry gained.
25/7/2011 Hollyfern Court: Entry by unknown means, jewellery stolen.
Break and enter premises
1/5/2011 Cottonwood Place: Attempted entry by jemmying side door. Unable to entry due to security locks.
23/5/2011 Cottonwood Place: Attempted entry by breaking glass panel, alarm sounded scaring off offender.
26/5/2011 Michigan Drive: Solved Entry by forcing a door, large amount of property stolen, offender arrested by police at scene.
12/6/2011 Tamborine Oxenford Road: Entry by breaking a security screen & door at cricket club after attempt through roof, cash & alcohol stolen from inside & extensive damage to clubrooms.
12/6/2011 Tamborine Oxenford Road: CCTV camera & alarm smashed prior to attempting entry. No entry gained.
30/7/2011 Oberon Way: Entry by the rear door of a house under construction, flat screen tv stolen.
Stealing
7/5/2011 Brittany Drive: Mobile phone stolen during a party.
26/5/2011 Fig Tree Court: Offender slashed shade sails, a lawn mower & chairs stolen.
17/7/2011 Cottonwood Place: Bicycle stolen from rear of Woolworths after the security chain was cut.
Theft of motor vehicle
30/5/2011 Regatta Avenue: Mazda utility stolen from the front yard of the victim, vehicle located burnt out at Beenleigh.
16/6/2011 Old Pacific Hwy: Clark skid-steer loader stolen from a building site & removed on a truck.
Steal from motor vehicle
23/6/2011 Tandanus Court: Drivers door lock on a Toyota Hilux forced, wallet & cash stolen from the vehicle.
23/6/2011 Graywillow Blvd: Drivers door lock on a Toyota Landcruiser wagon forced, wallet stolen from the vehicle.
23/6/2011 Blueash Crescent: ¼ glass window broken, industrial saw & digital camera stolen from the vehicle.
23/6/2011 Graywillow Blvd: Drivers door lock on a Toyota Prado wagon forced, wallet stolen from the vehicle.
15/7/2011 Pottinger Place: Passenger door locked on a Ford Ranger ute forced, cash & gps device stolen from inside vehicle.
23/7/2011 Tamborine Oxenford Road: An iPhone was stolen from an unlocked Mazda sedan at the community centre.
Stealing of vehicle registration plates
15/5/2011 Regatta Avenue: Both plates stolen off a Ford Falcon sedan.
22/5/2011 Nevada Place: Both plates stolen off a two vehicles.
30/5/2011 Ruth Terrace: Both plates stolen off a Holden Commodore.
4/6/2011 Cottonwood Place: Both plates stolen from a Mazda 2.
6/6/2011 Cottonwood Place: Rear plate stolen from a Holden Astra.
14/6/2011 White City Drive: Rear plate stolen from a Nissan Pulsar.
26/6/2011 Old Pacific Hwy: Rear plate stolen from a Mitsubishi Triton ute.
Wilful damage
13/5/2011 Old Pacific Hwy: Graffiti on fittings of public toilet at shopping centre.
1/6/2011 Old Pacific Hwy: The victim has overtaken the offender who was riding a scooter; offender had kicked at car causing paint scuffing & thrown a pie.
22/7/2011 Michigan Drive: Offenders have written graffiti on several buildings with marker pens.
23/7/2011 Brittany Drive: Offenders have smashed the windows on a Mazda with bricks during the night.
