Occasionally, if you live in Oxenford and elsewhere on the Gold Coast... or elsewhere in Queensland perhaps... and possibly Australia... a pink garbage bag will be placed in your letterbox.These pink bags are printed with a request for donations of clothes but did you know that these bags are from a COMMERCIAL enterprise? Read the bag carefully (yes, the smaller print) and you’ll see that the clothes you so kindly donate are then SOLD to families in ‘disadvantaged’ communities.
Please consider donating clothes & goods to one of Oxenford’s 3 op shops instead.
