Here are some images from the meeting last night of Oxenford Neighbourhood Watch. The speaker was Acting Sgt Rob Buckingham who brought along a speed camera van and gave a really interesting talk about its workings and the questions were many.
Our Division 2 Councillor John Wayne has never missed a meeting and once again addressed us all and brought us up to date with happenings and plans for Oxenford - for example did you know that we are going to have a new Bunnings store in Oxenford by 2012?

That's me inside the speed camera van - the back of the van has a desk and a chair where you sit and can look out through the back window of the van.

After the meeting we always socialise. Many bring a plate to share and we offer free tea, coffee and wine.
