REWARDS FOR 3 SUSPECTED MURDERS WITH OXENFORD LINKS

Did you know that two rewards of  $250.000  are on offer for information which leads to the apprehension and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the suspected murders of 3 individuals linked to Oxenford in 1999 and 2000?

Here are the details...

Steven Wayne Milligan died in Oxenford on or about 20 April 2000.

INDEMNITY FROM PROSECUTION: In addition, an appropriate indemnity from prosecution will be
recommended for any accomplice, not being the person who actually committed the crime, who first gives such information.

The allocation of the $250,000 reward will be at the sole discretion of the Commissioner of the Police Service.

CIRCUMSTANCES: On Tuesday the 18th April 2000 Steven Wayne MILLIGAN, 20 years, of 5 Cash Place, Oxenford went missing from that address. His badly decomposed body was located in bushland near his residence on the 12th May 2000.

Mr MILLIGAN's clothing was located some distance away from where his remains were found and police
consider that his death is suspicious. Investigations have failed to establish any motive for his death.

The second case is as follows:

The Minister for Police and Corrective Services has approved a reward of $250,000 be offered for information which leads to the apprehension and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Ann Maree KROPP and Christopher Leigh NANCARROW at Springbrook, Gold Coast on or about 31 January 1999.

INDEMNITY FROM PROSECUTION: In addition, an appropriate indemnity from prosecution will be recommended for any accomplice, not being the person who actually committed the crime, who first gives such information.

The allocation of the $250,000 reward will be at the sole discretion of the Commissioner of the Police Service.

CIRCUMSTANCES: On Monday 1 February 1999 the bodies of Ann Maree KROPP, 24 years, and Christopher Leigh NANCARROW, 27 years, were located at their residence situated at 2293 Springbrook Road, Springbrook on the Gold Coast. Both deceased had suffered knife wounds and are believed to have been murdered sometime between the evening of Saturday 30 January 1999 and Sunday 31 January 1999. The couple were last seen alive when they left a friend's residence at Oxenford at about 7.00pm on Saturday 30 January 1999. The deceased had moved to the Gold Coast area from Maitland, New South Wales approximately 12 months prior to their deaths.
