DANIEL MORECOMBE

REWARD: The Minister for Police and Corrective Services has approved that a reward of $250,000 be offered for information which leads to the apprehension and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the suspected abduction and murder of Daniel James Morcombe.

INDEMNITY FROM PROSECUTION: In addition, an appropriate indemnity from prosecution will be recommended for any accomplice, not being the person who actually committed the crime, who first gives such information.The allocation of the $250,000 reward will be at the sole discretion of the Commissioner.

CIRCUMSTANCES:Daniel James Morcombe, 13 years, was last seen at Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast between 1.30pm and 2.15pm on Sunday 7 December 2003. Daniel planned to catch a bus on Nambour Connection Road, near the Kiel Mountain Road overpass, and was to go shopping at Maroochydore. He has not been seen since.

Daniel James Morcombe is described as 150 cm tall, proportionate build with a fair complexion, blue eyes and dark brown hair.
