It is designed to enable the community to assist Police in investigating and solving crime.
Gold Coast Police remain committed to reducing crime in our community. Your support in reporting all crimes and any suspicious activities to the Police is appreciated. You may think what you have seen or heard is nothing, but it may be the last piece in the puzzle of solving a crime. Given the demographic characteristics of the Gold Coast District and the need to ensure that the bulletins contain relevant, local content it has been determined that two bulletins will be published each month – one targeting the ‘northern’ police districts (Coomera, Runaway Bay, Southport and Nerang) and the other the ‘southern’ police district (Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Mudgeeraba, Palm Beach and Coolangatta).
The Police distribute the Crime Bulletins on a monthly basis to a wide audience, therefore increasing the chance that someone may have information about the particular local crimes listed. Those of you who are on our emailing database -which to date features over 120 email addresses of 'Oxenfordians' receive the Northern Crime Bulletin from me as I always forward them once received from Qld Police.
