A few weeks ago I sumbled on a website about last year's Gold Coast Half Marathon winner and recognised him as the runner that I often see pounding Oxenford's streets.
Today I stumbled on a page that features the Half Marathon's results and he won again this year. Now I am assuming that Michael Shelley is a local chap as I always see him running along Riversdale Rd and Michigan Drive - but for all we know, he could be from Runaway Bay and Oxenford is just where he runs to as part of his training :)
