Crime Report for April

Ten crimes were reported in the Oxenford NHW area during April.

Of these, 3 were burglaries of houses, all occurring in the older park area. One garden shed and two businesses were also broken into. In all crimes offenders have needed to overcome security to enter. One graffiti offence and two wilful damage reports were also made.

Be aware that pick-pockets have been targeting shopping centre car parks pretending to be lost tourists. The person will produce a large map & ask for directions, whilst stealing your purse or wallet. Women appear to be targeted because purses are often in handbags. Be polite to our real tourists, but do watch out for thieves.
