Remember to always lock all windows, doors and sunroofs.
Do not leave articles such as purses, wallets, CDs, currency or change, sports equipment, computers or sunglasses in plain sight. (Criminals have admitted to law enforcement agencies that vehicles with articles in sight were more often chosen over vehicles which had no property visible.)
Remove backpacks. You may only have school books in it, but a thief doesn’t know that and may break a window just to get a look inside it.
If possible, remove the detachable faceplate of your stereo system.
Remember to park in well-lit areas. You may want to consider using some type of anti-theft device.
