CRIME REPORT - APRIL 2016

During April there were nine offences report to police, some of which have been solved.  There were three burglaries and in two of them the offender/s has forced entry through the front door.  In one of the offences a car was stolen after the internal garage door was also broken open.
There were also several steal from motor vehicle offences, including two where tools were stolen off the back of work vehicles.
I will provide full details at the next Oxenford NHW meeting on 10 May at 7pm at the Oxenford Community & Youth Centre.
Burglary
16/04/2016 Rafter Place: SOLVED - Offenders gained entry to the victim's unit by removing a window flyscreen and climbing in through the open window. Offenders stole a television set.
19/04/2016 Blueash Crescent: Unknown offender/s has gained entry by breaking open the security and front doors of the victim's house.  The offender/s has conducted an untidy search of the victim’s house. It is unknown if any property was stolen.
24/04/2016 Villanova Avenue: Unknown offender/s has gained entry to the victim's house by jemmying open the front door.  The offender/s has made an untidy search of the house and stolen a suitcase, tools and the victim's Mazda 3 hatch, which was in the garage. The vehicle was located at Kingston.
Steal from motor vehicle
04/04/2016 Brittany Drive: Unknown male offender has approached the victim's unlocked Nissan 4x4 wagon and searched inside the vehicle until disturbed by the witness. The offender has then decamped along Brittany Drive.  The witness & victim have pursued the offender and later been involved in an altercation and traffic crash prior to the offender escaping from the area. 04/04/2016 Regatta Avenue: Unknown offender has gained entry to the victim's Ford utility by smashing a window and stole a wallet from the centre console. The wallet was later located at Sea Eagle Lagoon. Linked to above offence.
04/04/2016 Cottonwood Place: Unknown offender stole a Stihl backpack blower from the rear tray of a parked GCCC truck.
08/04/2016 Old Pacific Highway: Unknown offender stole a Stihl concrete cutter from the rear tray of an Isuzu concrete pump truck.
21/04/2016 Lanier Close: SOLVED - Offender has attended the victim’s driveway and gained entry to the victim's Holden sedan by breaking the driver’s window.  The victim's wallet was stolen from the centre console of the vehicle.
Wilful damage
01/04/2016 Brentwood Terrace: Unknown offender/s has thrown food and other items into the victim's swimming pool and also thrown toilet paper and other items around the back yard.
