Everyone is welcome to join us Tuesday 12th August at 7pm at the Oxenford Youth and Community Centre for our quarterly get-together. The speaker is Mark Proctor - who is a Detective Sr Sgt at Coomera CIB - he will talk abour drugs, how they're made and drug labs. Mark gave a similar talk back in 2007 to our group and it was so fascinating and informative that community members still talk about it to this day.
Our meetings are a great way to to gather information not only on what is going on crime-wise in our area - but also to catch up on Divisional issues (our Cr William Owen Jones always attends and speaks) and - Parliament sittings permitting - you also get to meet and chat with our State Member for Albert Mark Boothman MP.
Every get-together is followed by a social hour where we enjoy free nibbles and teas and coffees.
