The school year starts on Tuesday, which means there will be a
lot of children walking or riding to school and not always paying attention to
passing cars.
School zones will be in force between
7-9am and 2-4pm. The Gold Coast Road
Policing Unit will be enforcing the 40 Km/h speed limits in school zones. You must not drive faster than 40Km/h between
the speed signs at the start and end of a school zone as there is no tolerance
in these areas.
Please drive safely and watch for children.
