A NEW NEIGHBOURING NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH IS BORN!

If you – or someone you know – live in Oxenford’s Reserve Estate, you may be interested to know that there is now a newly formed Neighbourhood Watch Group to cover that area.

At the helm is Coleen Long (picture left with Sgt Holly James), a dynamic lady who decided to start the watch following a burglary in her street.

Oxenford Neighbourhood Watch group has helped and mentored Coleen and she has received much support from our Coomera District Crime Prevention Coordinator Sgt Holly James, our Divison 2 Councillor William Owen Jones and the State Member for Albert Mark Boothman.

In 2012, the State Government announced a commitment to renew the NHWQ program by increasing the number of groups and also by taking NHW online with a focus on social media. Coleen has embraced this 21st century philosophy and her 130-strong Facebook group ‘The Reserve Estate Oxenford’ is a regularly updated source of local information where residents can share personal safety and property security issues.

If you would like to speak with Coleen, you can contact her via email at contact@thereserveestate.com.au or call 0417 302 616.
