Oxenford
Neighbourhood Watch needs some new block coordinators to assist with the
running of the group. Your role is as
the contact point for your area and to assist with the delivery of our
newsletters four times a year. You are
welcome to help with our other community-based activities, or just assist with
the newsletter drop, whatever you prefer.
What
do you need to do to be a volunteer block coordinator? Volunteers need to be people focussed and
committed to promoting a healthy and safe environment for all residents. Volunteer block coordinators need to undergo
a criminal history check (completed by our Police Liaison Officer, Acting
Senior Sergeant Andrew Lake).
There
are thirteen areas where a block coordinator is needed. It is preferred that a resident in the area
takes on the role, but we will accept other residents to ‘stand-in’ an area if
needed. See the map or the list below
for the available positions inthe following areas:
1. Sea Eagle Lagoon;
2. Coomera Rivage Estate north of the old
Hinze house (Silverash Street, Graywillow Boulevard, Blueash Crescent,
Hollyfern Court, Lomandra Courtt and Roseapple Circuit);
3. Pottinger Close (and side streets) and
Swindon Place;
4. Michigan Drive from Oxenford Tamborine
Road to the school, Hoad Court, Rafter Place and Oregon Drive (to the Rafter

8. The Forest Gardens unit complexes between
Michigan Drive and the Old Pacific Highway;

Avenue from the bridge to the roundabout;
10. Essen Place, Leander Circuit and Ontario
Court;
11. The eastern section of Regatta Avenue

If
you are interested in nominating for one of these areas please send a message
to the Oxenford NHW Group email or to my work email addresses.
