Crime Report December 2012


Six burglaries in the Oxenford NHW area were reported to police during December.  Of concern, two burglaries were ‘sneak’ types where the offender entered whilst the victim was at home.  In both instances entry appears to have been through an unlocked door.

Burglary
2/12/2012 Michigan Drive: The offender has entered the victim’s house, stolen the keys to a vehicle and then stolen property from the vehicle.
10/12/2012 Roche Court: The offender has gained entry by unknown means and stolen cash and jewellery.
10/12/2012 Regatta Avenue: The offender has gained entry by smashing a glass door and stolen jewellery.
15/12/2012 Ruth Terrace: The offender has entered two residences by jemmying the front doors and stolen property, including computers and jewellery.
25/12/2012 Silky Oak Court: The offender has entered by breaking a window to undo a door lock & stolen a large amount of property.
29/12/2012 Leander Circuit: Solved. The offenders have gained entry by unknown means whilst the victim’s were at home.  Documents, jewellery and a Mitsubishi 4x4 was stolen.  One offender arrested.
Stealing of vehicle registration plates
16/12/2012 Maidenhead Court: Offender has stolen both number plates from a Subaru wagon.
Wilful damage
2/12/2012 Graywillow Boulevarde: The victim’s sedan was parked in their driveway.  During the night, the rear window of the car was smashed by unknown persons.
