October 2012 Crime Report

Four burglaries and an attempted burglary were committed in October.  Of concern, one burglary was a ‘sneak theft’ when and offender entered the house whilst the victim was watching television.  The summer months will see criminals seeking open doors and windows in your home, so don’t leave your house insecure, even when at home.
Burglary
 3/10/2012 - Missouri Way: The victim has been at home at the time; an unknown offender has entered through an open door & stolen handbags.
 9/10/2012 - Savannah Avenue: The offenders have gained entry by smashing a glass door to the garage. Jewellery and electrical items have been stolen.
19/10/2012 - Saint Maarten Place: The offenders have gained entry by jemmying a security screen & glass door. Jewellery, computers and electrical items have been stolen.
21/10/2012 - Temple Island Circuit: The offenders have attempted to gain entry by jemmying the front door. Nil entry gained.
28/10/2012 - Brittany Drive: The offenders have gained entry by jemmying the front door. Large amount of property and a Ford Territory wagon stolen.
Steal from motor vehicle
 3/10/2012 - Broxbourne Place: Offenders have broken a window on the vehicle & stolen the car’s radio & speakers.
 3/10/2012 - Temple Island Circuit: Offenders have broken a window on the vehicle & stolen property from inside.
 3/10/2012 - Regatta Way: Offenders have broken a window on the vehicle & stolen a digital camera from inside.
Stealing of vehicle registration plates
15/10/2012 - Cottonwood Place: Offender has removed both registration plates from the victim's vehicle.
Wilful damage
1/10/2012 - Flinders Park Court: Unknown offenders have sprayed graffiti on the victim’s fence (from Kopps Rd).
