September 2012 Crime Report

During September there were 6 crimes reported in the Oxenford NHW area.  In the burglary committed, offenders gained entry to the house by using a garage door opener from a car parked in the house’s driveway.
Burglary
24/09/2012    Rushcutter Avenue: unknown offenders broke into a car parked outside the victim’s house, stole a garage door opener to gain entry to the house.  The offenders stole computers and a Holden Commodore sedan from the house.
Attempted burglary
24/09/2012     Broxbourne Place: unknown offenders attended the address in a Ford Falcon utility and attempted to get into the house from the side yard.  The offenders decamped when the alarm was activated.
Break and enter premises
13/09/2012   Cottonwood Place: three offenders have attended the Woolworths supermarket in a stolen Chrysler sedan, and smashed the front doors of the business.  The offenders stole a large amount of tobacco products from the service counter.
24/09/2012    Global Plaza: unknown offenders gained entry to a fenced storage area at Bunnings and stole a number of items.
25/09/2012     Idaho Place: the offenders gained entry to the vacant house by forcing a window.  No property was stolen.
Stealing of vehicle registration plates
14/09/2012    Oxenford township: Unknown offenders have stolen the front number plate from a Holden Commodore sedan.
