Had a call this evening from a lady report that her neighbour had a break and enter early hours of this morning 4am (Sat 1st Sept) the occupant disturbed the burglars and they fled. The burglary occurred on Princeton Street in Regatta Waters.
Two residents who live on Princeton St suspect that the burglary may be connected to a vehicle that has been spotted 'prowling' in Regatta Waters recently. The silver Volvo is an early 'boxy' type model - a station wagon - similar to the one shown here - and features P plates. This car has been seen loitering in the area and is occupied by 3 young men. The driver wears a red cap.
The reggo of this vehicle has been noted and has already been passed on to Coomera Police.
